Vorhang Auf! – Matinée

As part of this special matinée concert, I will be performing the solo aria “O Sancta Justizia” and joining the Neeber-Schuler Choir for the spirited ensemble “Den hohen Herrscher ruft der Drang” in the role of the Mayor from Albert Lortzing’s comic opera Zar und Zimmermann. I find both pieces delightfully humorous, and it’s a true highlight for me to bring an operatic scene to life together with the choir.
